3D PATTERN MAKING & VIRTUAL PROTOTYPES

 

I have used digital pattern-making tools, such as CLO3D, throughout my studies at Aalto University. 3D pattern-making and digital rendering are often associated with sportswear and activewear design, but I find value in these tools with more tailoring & artistic design as well.

 

CLO3D has evolved throughout the years into a powerhouse of a design tool, streamlining my design process. Making the first few mock-ups digitally saves me a lot of time and has a positive effect on a project's finances and sustainability by minimizing fabric usage.
