COLLABORATIVE COLLECTION

My second year's collection assignment was to design and produce a collection in collaboration with two of my classmates. This collection was made in collaboration with Katariina Salmela and Konsta Eskola.

The six look collection explores emotional bonds between the garment and its user. We wanted to highlight the physical and emotional protection of clothing and its absence through precise material choices and symbolic shapes and silhouettes.

Thick moose skin is used, soft silks and light knits form the material basis of the collection. Cutouts, draping, metal appliqués and placement work as accessories, giving depth to the collection.
